Cambodian: Crib, Cross and Crown
ស្នូកសត្វ ឈើឆ្កាង ហើយនឹងមកុដ
Werner Gitt explains God´s salvation plan – beginning with the birth of Jesus (crib), then His death (cross) and through to His resurrection and eternal glory (crown).
God provided the remedy for the ‘primeval catastrophe’, the fall of man. As prophesied in the Bible, God sent his Son into the world. Until the first Christmas, the world had never before seen God.
The cross has become an offence and a target for critics – they don´t understand how an instrument for execution can ever be central to a faith or creed. Dr Gitt sees the criticism as symptomatic of the general loss of awareness of sin. Because of the insurmountable abyss that separates God from man, due to sin, there was no other way for mankind to be saved.
When Jesus returns to Earth someday, everyone will acclaim Him as king, and mankind will be divided into two groups: those who will be cast out and those who will be accepted. Which of these groups you are in will depend on your response to Jesus in this life. There is a sample prayer in the tract for anybody who wants to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
